Tabacon Hot Springs Arenal Volcano Costa Rica

Tabacon Hot Springs Resort is located 13km from the town of La Fortuna in Arenal Costa Rica. Arenal Volcano flanks the Tabacon Resort at one end and the National Park on the other. The different sized pools and waterfalls, with varying temperatures, are set in private, rainforest reserve with acres of gorgeous tropical gardens.

The Volcano naturally heats the flowing thermal mineral springs. The pools vary in size, some are large but there are also small and private ones. The main swimming area features five pools, a swim-up bar, and a thermal water slide. There are little heated rivers, waterfalls, and nocks to explore.

The river-pool temperatures range from 72 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit and have a high volume and mineral content, however, the sulfur content is low, which means that the area is free of undesirable odors.

Tabacon has restaurants, swim-up bars, spa service, changing facilities and tropical gardens and jungle.
