Canyoneering and Canopy Tour in one day Arenal Costa Rica

Canyoneering and Canopy Tours on one full day of action. Canyoneering is a mixture of rappelling, down-climbing, and river tracing in a deep, tropical canyon.  There is no better place to experience this than in the jungles of Costa Rica. You will spend the morning hiking and rappelling down magical waterfalls in the rainforest near the majestic Arenal Volcano.

Lost Canyon Adventures:

  Prepare to get wet! You will first be given a safety talk to explain important rappelling and down-climbing techniques and provided with high-quality climbing gear such as a harness, helmet, and gloves.

Take a deep breath! You’ll rappel down a thrilling 150-ft waterfall and make your way along the river bed by down-climbing and rappelling a series of waterfalls that get gradually bigger! You’ll finish with a 200ft-guided rappel at the end. 

Finally, you will have a beautiful hike back up the canyon that takes about 10 minutes.  You will be taken to our Canyon House where you can change and then sit down for a delicious homemade lunch (vegetarians can be provided for!).

After lunch, you will be taken back to your hotel where you will have about an hour to relax before being picked up for your canopy zipline tour with Arenal Vista Canopy.

Arenal Vista Canopy Tour is located about 15 minutes from La Fortuna, Arenal Volcano.  It borders the Children's Eternal Rainforest (which connects with the Monteverde Cloud Forest) and is full of lush tropical plants and wildlife.

You will have an unforgettable experience on this zipline canopy tour through the rainforest with views of Arenal Volcano.  You will be thrilled by the feeling of zipping from platform to platform through the forest.

The canopy tour has 14 platforms and cables that are 600ft (200 meters) to 2,500ft (845 meters) long with height varying from 22-55 meters.
