Fascinating day trip from Playa Samara to see the turtles in the evening. Turtles are seen about 80% of the time on this tour all year around. The turtles do not arrive in masses like in Ostinal but nor are you limited to seeing them at certain times of year and certain times of the month, like in Ostinal.

There are 7 species of sea turtles in the world and in Playa Camaronal three of these species come to nest! Although it is more common to see the Leatherbacks than the others. All three have been declared endangered.
