Displays and sells works in support of an arts program for local children and adults.  Art classes for kids on Sundays.  Pottery shop/Ceramic center offers ceramic classes other classes vary year round.  It looks like the troubled Monteverde Institute is looking to sell this location in a bid to liquidate some of their assets.  This is one of Monteverde's oldest houses and is in the "heart" of Monteverde.

Hummingbird Gallery

At the entrance to the reserve the Hummingbird gallery has a garden teeming with active hummingbirds coming to visit their feeders. These hyperactive creatures feed and fight all day long paying little attention to the spectators. The gallery inside sells nature photography and other artistic souvenirs.
