Built on a former cattle pasture, Cabanas Los Pinos offers 12 spacious and fully equipped cabins that will make you feel at home. Owner, Jovino Arguedas, built the first of the cabins fifteen years ago, all have been renovated since and several are less than a year old.
These cabins are ideal for families with both the privacy of the cabins and the vast grassy lawns and flowering gardens where children can tire themselves with endless exploration. Visitors might be surprised to learn that one gardener maintains all of the 1.5-acre grounds.
Cabins come in various sizes; some perfect for a couple to have a cozy weekend vacation, others with the ability to accommodate up to seven people. Los Pinos is also a good budget option, not only because of price but also because of the fully equipped kitchens where all meals can be cooked. The kitchens include refrigerator, two-burner gas stove and a full compliment of pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. Cabins also have fans, comfy double beds, bathrooms with hot water and parking space.
The location of Los Pinos is conveniently located between Monteverde (with its famous reserve, the Quaker meeting house and the Cheese Factory) and Santa Elena, the main village of the area (supermarket, bus station and restaurants).
