In addition to our services as travel agent we organize some of our own tours and transportation.  Desafio La Fortuna S.A. has been operating in Costa Rica for over 10 years and was founded by Suresh Krishnan, originally of California.

The company is a pioneer in the rafting of new rivers in the Arenal area and has worked hard in improving the reputation of horseback riding in the Monteverde / Arenal vicinity.

Our offices in La Fortuna, located behind the church, are currently undergoing major construction.  In the beginning of 2006 we hope to complete these renovations and offer even more services to visitors through our improved facilities.  Our Monteverde office is located in front of the supermarket in Santa Elena.

If your in the neighborhood feel free to stop by on of our offices.  We are happy to provide you with a map and answer any questions you might have.  At our offices you will also find Internet access, a book exchange and a wealth of information, published in brochures and our own collected binders of info.

Our Monteverde office is located in front of the only supermarket in Santa Elena, called Super Compro. We are underneath a restaurant called Morphos and we have a white horse in the window.
